So I know, I know, I haven't updated in awhile, but I've had a busy weekend!!! Planning a 50th Wedding Anniversary party takes a lot of energy!! So lets back track to Friday 8/26....
After I got home from work Friday morning I took a nap, woke up and drove over an hour to Cooperdale to pick up my niece Alivia!! She didn't know we were coming and she was very surprised!! I only took one picture on Friday and it makes me soooo happy!!! Can you guess what it is???
If you guessed the Dillon Falls bridge is open then you are correct!!! This will make getting to the North End soooo much easier!!!
As soon as we got back to our neck of the woods, Bethany and I went to town to finish our party shopping. Then it was to the church to get as much decorating done as we could. We pretty much finished everything in about 1 1/2 hour so we were proud of ourselves.
Then the big day arrived!! Saturday 8/27, the Anniversary Party!!! It turned out pretty good. The grandparents really enjoyed themselves and Bethany was a great hostess. Me, not so much. I have a hard time talking to people. I just never know what to say!!! And I hate awkward moments, so I just kinda made myself available and tried to help Beth as best I could. Here's a couple pictures....

Sunday 8/28 was a lazy day!! I made supper for myself, Mom, Reagan, Brenda and Bethany. Steak tips, noodles and mashed potatoes. Yummy!!!
And today, 8/29 is back to normal. Every one's at work, Reagan's a Aunt Brenda's and I'm getting ready to nap before going to work.
